Hello Everyone!
Here's a wee Christmas/holiday season present for you!
We decided to record a version of INXS's "Never Tear Us Apart" for a few reasons.
We recently played a couple of low key acoustic gigs and there was a competition for us to cover some of our favourite songs from the 80's and "Never Tear Us Apart" was an option but we felt we could do something more than just an accoustic cover of the song, so we decided to record a lofi version of it at home in Kilsyth,Scotland. It was mostly recorded in Andy's bedroom and Mark did all his parts at his own house.
The other reason is that it's the 10th anniversary of one of our favourite films "Donnie Darko" and this song is on the soundtrack. I remember being 16/17 and in high school when it came out and loving everything about it. the soundtrack as well as the original score was pretty amazing and it introduced me to some bands which are now my favourite artists of all time. So we thought we'd celebrate the anniversary by covering this song.
Also we wanted to give everyone who likes our band a present for supporting us over the years!

P.S. I don't even know to this day if I truly understand Donnie Darko but thats what makes me like it so much.
